Motion / Graphic / Web Designer
Motion / Graphic / Web Designer is needed to perform the following duties:
1. Design and animate motion graphics
- · Develop creative and engaging promotional, short-form video to promote the brand through different social media platforms and the website.
- · Edit and optimize graphics and video content for social media platforms;
- · Maintain videography equipment and provide guidance for new equipment purchases.
- · Takes the lead on video projects from concept to delivery (storyboard, design, animation, feedback, QA, and production).
- · Share relevant industry news and insights with Chinese clients to demonstrate expertise and provide value-added services.Provide technical support for design- and video-related efforts;
- · Develops graphics, illustrations, and other creative materials for the web, social, and other digital platforms that is on-brand, reinforces our status and reputation, and is appropriate for our various audiences;
- · Design and layout of materials for internal communications and business materials.
- · Work with the Growth and Marketing team with edits to digital assets (videos, content downloads etc).
- · Create infographics and presentation materials to simplify communication of complex concepts and data.
2. Graphic Design
- · Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
- · Prepare rough drafts and present your ideas
- · Amend final designs to clients comments and gain full approval
- · Design graphics, animations and manipulate digital photographs
- · Design sample page layouts including text size and color
- · Proofread content and making changes where necessary
- · Develop brand image, marketing logo, and new concepts for company
- · Lead concept idealization and iteration with sketching, wireframe development, prototypes and other tools
- · Create designs, concepts, and develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and web sites based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts, in order to provide an easy, beautiful, consistent, and seamless user experience across platforms
- · Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products
- · Review final layouts, make changes, identify trends, research new software or design concepts
- · Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type appropriate for each project while keeping within the standards
- · Scheduling project implementation and defining budget constraints
- · Working with a wide range of media and using graphic design software
- · Thinking creatively and developing new design concepts, graphics and layouts
- · Cultivate a solid body of work
- · Take the design “brief” to record requirements and clients needs

3. Web Designer
Responsible for the design, development, creation and maintenance of our Websites, landing pages, banner ads, emails and other online marketing projects. This position involves content updates and maintenance to Web sites as well as design, production and web optimization for SEO.
- · Meeting clients to identify their needs and liaising regularly with them;
- · Drawing up detailed website specifications;
- · Designing sample page layouts including text size and colours;
- · Designing graphics, animations and manipulating digital photographs;
- · Registering web domain names and organizing the hosting of the website;
- · Presenting initial design ideas to clients;
- · Coding using a variety of software;
- · With different content management systems;
- · Search engine optimization;
- · Meeting relevant legal requirements such as accessibility standards, freedom of information and privacy;
- · Designing the website's visual imagery and ensuring it's in line with company branding policy or the requirements of the client;
- · Proofreading content and making changes where necessary;
- · Editing content, debugging code and re-designing web pages;
- · Working with other web specialists including web developers and graphic designers;
- · Liaising with outside agencies;
- · Testing the website to ensure it is working;
- · Handing the completed website over to the client;
- · Post-sales technical support;
- · Training client's staff;
- · Continual professional development to keep up to date with new software developments.
- · Research current design trends, and do continual professional development to keep up to date with new software developments
4. UI Designer
Produce high-quality visual designs from concept to execution, including those for desktop, web, and mobile devices at a variety of resolutions (icons, graphics, and marketing materials).
Stay current on the latest design trends, standards, and practices. Produce graphic sketches, designs, and copy layouts for a variety of applications, including sites, email marketing, social, display advertising, direct mail, brochures and other brand materials.
- · Develop clean, appealing, and easy-to-use user interfaces iteratively
- · Develop data visualizations and infographics
- · Create high-fidelity mock-ups, redlines, style guides, and assets
- · Work collaboratively with designers, engineers, product managers, marketing, and sales
- · Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
- · Establish and promote UI design guidelines, best practices and standards
Required Qualifications
- · Bachelor's degree in art, graphic design, or related field
- · 5+ years experience in graphic design
Preferred Skills:
- · Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (mainly InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, and Photoshop), Microsoft Office, DropBox, and G Suite.
- · Experience with graphic design and production principles and processes; experience in camera operation, location and set management, audio, lighting, sound editing and mixing
- · Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro)
- · Understand both front-end (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, HTML 5.0, CSS 4, JavaScript, Flash.) and back-end technologies (databases, CMS, etc.)
- · Experiences in using lean UX techniques to develop products
- · Experiences in planning and facilitating user research (both ethnographic and design focused) and usability test
- · Experience with developing graphics, illustrations, videos, gifs, and other creative materials for web, social, and other digital platforms
